No, you would still need the fenders and bumper and radiator support and basically the entire front end of a MK4.

not necisarily, ive seen ppl *** rig the shit on and it looks straight, no probs at all....so just look for a cheap set of lights u can tinker with....

oh next time you ask a question on parts be a little more specific, more along the lines of what kind you would like, like cams, exhaust ect...cause some ppl think a boost guage is a performance part....lol...

Just headlights or a whole front end conversion? You would still need to do something to make the headlights fight right, but why do that when you can buy MK4 style headlights for a MK3? Don't do a half ass job, do it the right way.

haha thats some good stuff! if you really wanted you could use the front off a 99.5 and up cabrio which is very hard to get ur hands on... and you would still have to do some work to the bottom of the fenders because cabbie's use different rocker panels.
PS: it looks terrible on a jetta too

lol i just like the headlights and i think it looks good on a jetta, but thats just my opinion.. but i am looking for valves, pistons, and rods..
