This is the newest diaphragm valve. With the new TSI engine came the D piston valve, but the G has proven to be reliable. I was popping C's even stock and never had an issue with the G, many others out there have been running them for a long time on everything from stage 1 to 3.

I'd do it if you drove to Ruskin. Not sure where you are. I'd like it installed.

i'd do 40 Installed. No problems with mine yet but its a car built in 06 and sold as an 07. I assume its ready to blow with my APR sg 1. I dont have a boost gauge. Can you install one of those too? Maybe I can get a few small items together and you could help me out. Need Boost gauge, BSH stg1 pcv, DV, Fuel pump. Then my stage 2+ flash can come. Where are you located?

Sorry I forgot to check back. I'm in Palmetto so I think it's a pretty good drive to Ruskin.

Do you have ramps or jackstands? The DV is just 3 bolts, I think you need a 5mm allen and that's it. The PCV is also easy, just a few torx, I forget the size. The fuel pump I haven't messed with myself yet, but I will be soon because I need to check/change my follower at this oil change. I've seen mine get pulled a couple times and it seems pretty straight forward. I had my boost gauge installed by a mechanic I know, I didn't want to deal with it haha.
