WTB: VW Bus (old or new style)
Just like title i'm looking for either a trade with my car, or I can have cash. I'm mainly looking for an older model VW bus restored, or one of the newer Eurovans. LMK what you guys have. Depeding on value or your bus i'm asking $7,000 for my car.
Pictures of my car.
More info or pics can be sent just want to see if anyone on here has what i'm looking for. Thanks!

Check out TheSamba as previously mentioned. Probably better off just selling your car and looking for one with cash, could most likely work out a better deal as well since you wouldn't have to explain your cars value for trade and stuff. Much older crowd as well so I'm not sure you'd have much luck finding someone interested.
Need to be more specific as well, you never mention if you want a Type II or a Vanagon? Aircooled or water? The first two years of the vanagon were still aircooled. Can't say I'm the biggest fan of the water cooled vanagons and eurovans, I know the reliability on the water cooled vanagons isn't particularly good(water leaks). I've driven a eurovan and it's nothing like an old bus, feels like an astro van or econoline in my opinion...
As far as the price yes fully restored baywindow bus's generally go for more than 7k, but you could probably get a really nice original unrestored one for 4-5K around here and just do the work yourself. Plus you get more familiar with the vehicle and it's workings.
This region is really horrible for vintage VW's, they all seem to rust to some degree and most of them turn into rusted heaps causing them to be fairly rare and more expensive down here compared to out west. What you can get out there for 7K would make you cry compared to the expensive rust buckets here.
