i have a non running 1991 golf gl
im almost positive it just needs a starter
which we have
the car is completely original minus a headliner
there is some rust

id give the exterior a 6/10
and the interior a 9/10
no rips or tears

you should give it a try, that would help determine if the starter is bad and also ease the mind of potential buyers like myself knowing that it runs.
