From the research I did before installing my roof vent, it seems the headliner is installed at the factory before the windshield is installed. I am not sure if you can get it out of the car without bending it and without removing the windshield.

When we installed the vent, we just moved it to the back of the car, resting it on the rear deck and the front seats (reclined) to keep it supported. I don't think we could have gotten it out, it looked to be to wide for the door opening.

well ive seen it taken out (gimmick racing did it to his 06) so i know it can be done i just dont know how he got it out lol

yes you can take it out without removing the window, its not a 67 bug lol


from the source:
[14:26] Garcia: $330 for headliner only
$150 for pillars only
$440 for head liner and pillars
$150-$250 for door inserts depending on how big they are and what material

finished products theres some spots on the pillars that got a little scratched from install but nothing major



those marks on the headliner go away if you lightly rub on it but im tired of working on it
