2s R Us is our distributor for the VC bolts...actually, and most everything that leaves David's place is shipped exactly the same way, in a flat rate box and everything packed, but oh well. Sorry you feel that way. You can always shoot me a PM on the mr2 boards or email directly if you have a problem with how your transaction turned out, we always try to improve customer service where we can.

Good luck on your build though, I just picked up a spare engine and i'll be putting it on the stand in the next week or two...i've got some weak ass roommates that can't help me pick it up and help me drag it up to our apt. so it's sitting in my passenger seat I'm pretty much going the same route...cept with CP's and am only looking for 350whp on pump with the td06.

Shoot me a line whenever you start assembling and if you're willing to let go with one of the stock rods.

i got charged like 12 bucks to ship some bolts i just thought it was retarded. im assuming you already know what you gotta do to get yourself to that 350hp mark right? once the rods are out i'll hit you up. what do you need stock rods for?

I hope so, or else shaun hired the wrong guy for parts and tech support

The block I have spun a bearing. The rod was taken out to inspect damage and I can't find it. I'd rather have the stock rods resized and shot-peened since it wont cost me much but still take a beating.

Thanks, but I ended up finding a rod for $27+shipping.

Good luck with your build, nice to see people going big in Tampa...last meet I went to was at XAT back in '05...bit disappointed to see the highest dyno was like high 200s (?) and everyone else hanging out around the 200-210whp mark.
