It’s probably just a regular Joe blow 93 cobra with a blower. Mustang was winning (especially the second race) until he hit the revlimiter in 4th gear and went into 5th gear, which is overdrive and or let out. Stangs definitely need a T-56 to run up top competitively.

I'm not too famliar with domestics but he was putting down 650RWHP at the time.

From what I have heard yes. Even though he lost it's still a bad ass car. No matter how fast you are another guy/girl out there is faster than you.

You could tell those were very evenly matched cars. Taking into consideration that the bottum to midrange on that cobra appears to be way better and obviously the top end on the supra is incredible. Standing 1/4 mile, I'll give the nod to the cobra

I agree. I think the Cobra would come out ontop in the 1/4. And obviously the Supra would come out ontop on the freeway

Again like I said the T-5 5th gear isn't for racing, it's an overdrive gear. I don't care if the cobra had 1000 RWHP 5th gear wouldn't pull efficiently.
If you pay attention to the race you can hear that the cobra went from a second gear roll on through to the top of fourth where he let out... hence the ricer flyby
...both cars seem pretty fast though. The elapsed time from the 2nd gear start @ 50mph to the top of fourth @120 mph took only 9 seconds, impressive but I'll have to see how quick my car does it to appreciate it.
