Did you even read the whole thread ass? They have not made an f-body in 2 freaking years so how in the hell you come up with 30K is beyond ignorant.
Pick a 95 f-body with an LT1 motor what 4 K another 4 K for S/C and you will smoke "most" imports ALL DAY. I dont even bother to turn on the hose for imports anymore... it is pointless.
Maybe there are just no fast ones in VA.
As far as import vs domestic see sig for the k-car. 10 seconds. No BS! WAY < 10k but it is a fucking k-car.
I am not 20 years old I will get no respect from anyone I know driving around in a freaking Honda with a big wing. Note:I think the Humble Honda is bad ass thou.
4 door import better than looking than an F-body. HA not in my book. Well... Maybe a BMW 700 series. Hooked up 95 Max? Nah... you can keep it. I would have buy a new one and leave it stock.

I remember when VQ35DE first got his max and took it to sunshine and ran it stock against a late model Z28 (96'+) and he beat the camaro pretty bad. About 1-1.5 cars.

+1 F-bodies never gained any modable power until the LS1 and GM will never stray fro mit for that reason they got lucky with their engineering of this engine. GM by far is the Crapiest engie designers on the face of this earth ! They make the power but not safely and economicly ! LT1 is proof of this !
