Oh and one last thing. When you rate/make cars with 350+ HP the insurance skyrockets that's why most manufactuers (import or domestic) keep it around the 300 mark. Port the heads, throw a camshaft, headers, and a cutout in an LS1 and you are 400+ HP at the wheel all day long. No turbo lag, no S/C whine, etc.. just pure NA performace.
But if you feel like throwing a turbo on there... A guy on LS1.com is trying to break his 120,000 mile LS1 motor right now. He has a new motor to throw in it but this one will not break Only 749 HP now

Its not like Tampa is boiling over with built 240SX's, and thankfully so, I would hate for every other car to be a suped up 240SX like you see with camaro's and mustangs (yes, and civics LOL). please, who wants a tupaware sports car?
theres something to be said about swappin an engine out, boostin it up, making a one of a kind ride... its not your everyday catalog bolt on camaro.
and when did I say that the LS1 shares parts with a 50's small block? you contort posts to read as you want them to, not as they were written. I said parts interchangability. pick up an ecklers catalog and look how interchangeable some of the parts are with cars from the 60's up to say.. the C4 corvette. thats quite a long time to be using the same "technology" (not that I would call it that anymore)

I laid out a specific plan for a close to 11 second ride for under 10 grand which at some point was an arguement in this thread. and then you say "ive never seen one".. well, i've never seen a lot of things so... that doesn't disprove a thing to me.
and a little PS... Im not raggin you personally. or ANYTHING like that. I'm pretty new here and Im not lookin to make enemy's out of any of you, I just enjoy tossing some of this up with you. I know your not a redneck, and honestly I hate the (newer) camaro but the vette is just heavenly man
