Rutter beats a Cobra
Typical E46 M3's do 13.1 to 13.5. My car is an SMG equipped version which means I have no control over what rpm the clutch engages at. In Launch Control mode, its 1800 rpm or nothing. All I can do is feather the throttle. This means consistent launches at around a 13.5 on a stock motor.
At the end when he LOSE'S he says "Fuck i launched it bad"

youve got to remember the new M3's also have 340 hp while the 350z has 287 hp - pretty big difference eventhough the m3 weighs a little more -
now if you wanna take it to the track thatd be a different story - anyone see the BMI - Z Shock? Z won the battle with the s2000 coming in 2nd
i prob shouldnt forget to mention the price difference - the Z is quite a car that can be had for $26,xxx for the Touring. plenty of car for the money no matter if it can out drag the new BMW m3
my $0.02

the z will get as low as a 13.6-7 stock with minor mods its possible for any car to win... and the m3 stock does not run a 13.0...
