First time out to gandy=1993.....started going to shit around 96-97ish.
Cell phones started taking off....
Internet "racing" sites start popping up.....
Ricer scene takes over and all hell breaks loose.
The final blow to Tampa was the new "street racing" law.
Its done and will NEVER be like it was pre-import days.
I'm just lucky I got to go out to gandy and DRAG RACE back in the days before it went to pure shit... like in these vids and how it is today.
I can only imagine how it would have been pre-93.
