To me I think that that number should be around 550, but oh well. And that car just trapped 151 last weekend and your car traps?

You cant deny 151mph trap speeds. In a car like that 700whp wpuld trap at those speeds not 800whp. Colin(Racing Integration) trapped 156mph with a little more then 700whp. Local guy for those who dont know.

But you have to remember Courts car weighs 2600+lbs. Also, I remember he is using a different correction factor being he is in a higher elevation.

It looked like an EG hatch to me. If it weighs 2600+lbs then he had better have it full of groceries. Collins car is a CRX which is lighter but not that much. You really think he is making 800whp? I have seen 800whp on the dyno out of a civic. It looks nothing like that. 800whp put down through a tire that small. No way.

It is an EG hatch, that has full interior, full 3.5" exhaust, full cage, etc. The car stock weighs around 2150 or so. Then had his 200lb skull. I will see if I can get the exact weight with him in it. I do believe though he said 2600lb. Collins crx is way lighter then this car. I agree on the tire though.

And the correction factor is a huge thing to note as well. Your car made 540whp with a STD correction....which is only around 518 on SAE numbers.

This proves my point. I trapped 136 in a coupe(heavier then a hatch) with 518whp. At that time i had both seats in and a cage. It doesnt add up.

Ron, I am not going to get into a pissing match. Look at your car. Now look at that car. He has all body parts not cut up, inside parts, radio, etc. Your car trapped 136 with 518ish SAE corrected. This car trapped 151 with prolly somewhere around 760corrected. Considering he picked up 15mph, I would say its about right. Not to mention this was his first time at the track.

I still dont know why you think my car is gutted. The only thing that is cut is the fenders. I took out the a/c and carpet.

ron, i'm interested to see what your car weighs exactly.

jason, for the record what does your car weigh?

i'm always curious because there are so many different ways to lighten a civic to around 2050-2100lbs.
