Solberg's crash (the one where the subaru crashes into the blocks and his left front wheel pops off, he also crashes later below the fans because cars are allowed to run stages after they retire without scoring points) was caused believe it or not by fans throwing snow on the road. Another former world champ, Marcus Gronholm, crashed on the same corner. Stranger still, the fact that those fans throw snow on the corner is written into thier pace notes for that particular stage, the drivers just misjudged the amount!
The red and white cars with Marlboro sponsership are Peugot 307's, the red and blue one's are Citroen Xsara's, and the white and red cars with a green base are Skoda Fabia's.
I'm supposed to do a translation for this french guys website about one of the stages in that rally, the Col de Turini, but school is kickin my ass right now.
