The Cosworth 2.4L V-8's that the F1 rules have mandated next year are proportedly revving to 20K already. Cosworth is not one of the premier engine suppliers anymore. I can only imagine what the Toyota team has in store. It appears the FIA isn't controlling speeds with tire and engine regulations as much as they had hoped.
