The gas is actually compressed air. I believe the BAR team 2 years ago had a problem with it leaking, and had to top it off every pit stop or so.
While 20K is cool, they would have got to that with the V10's if they wouldn't have mandated 2 race's per engine this year. And I'm not of the opinion that the 8's sound better than the 10's.
Toyota and Ferrari I know have functioning test mules with these lumps in them.
Spa is this weekend, set your VCR and catch one of the better if not the best tracks in the F1 circuit.
