Suicide in police holding cell *ww*
I was shown this video in my CJ class, so I'll give a bit of a background on it. It was up in San Bernadino, after a high speed pursuit. It ended after the guy got stuck in a cul-de-sac, and the cops took him down. Three cops actually did search him for weapons, but they did a piss poor job and got suspended for it. It is inside of an iterrogation room, but they didn't close the door because they didn't start the actual questioning. You can actually tell the detective that dropped his keys on the counter is experienced, because one of the first things he did was pick them back up. If he hadn't, they would have been confiscated as evidence for a long time.
The guy who showed it to our class was an investigator for the District Attorney's office, and goes around teaching seminars on how to spot a concealed weapon. He uses this video as an introduction to the gravity of the situation. He also showed parts of The Mexican (brad pitt and julia roberts), which has suprisingly accurate of how people carry them, sit with them, adjust them, etc etc, even if they are left handed.
