yea I have seen cases where they take AWD cars and put all power to one set of wheels. and it is an R32 I can post the link that talks about the car if you wish.

The reasons it was not done on a 4 wheel DYNO?...... is it just a # thing?
We all know the drivetrain losses are greater but whats the purpose?

Be cool to see just how much drivetrain loss there is...

AWD = more load. More load = More knock. More knock = blowing up.

So not only would it make less power with AWD, but the tuning would need to be different...

Audi TT with that drivetrain is one of my top 5 dream cars. Audi's AWD is the only one I'd trust to race, its bullet proof. Motortrend launched a R32 twin turbo AWD beetle 52 times off the rev limiter in the same track session, and they said the clutch never even slipped !!!

Only sad part ?? That's like a $45K motor/turbo set up, in a $30K car...

they disconnected the awd system because i dont think eip has an awd dyno. it beat the hpa r32 in the quarter mile during moter trends super car shootout and that has around 530 hp if im not mistaken. so the power isnt off by that much.

i got money on the 12v.

i wonder if they upgraded the motor mounts or its making enough power to shift the motor that much.
