still a v8 regardless of whether its in a 5000lb truck and put the 5.3 in a car and its still gonna drink gas regardless your feeding the same amount of gas into a motor twice the size of most four cylinders....its not rocket science, so either prove that a stock corvetee can get 30mpg or drop it

FYI: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/16438.shtml The corvette gets about 18 mpg city. A swapped s13 hatch gets about 27.6 mpg http://www.sileightymania.com/journa....asp?year=2005- "I have a 92 S13 hatch, and I just calculated my gas mileage... 27.6mpg!!!! Oh, I'm in love!"

forced induction does use more gas when you build boost so as long as you dont beat the crap out of it and dont build boost then the need for fuel never increases, same goes for the v8 beat it up even n/a and fuel goes to shit, but daily driven to daily driven turbo wins
wait so the turbo'd 240sx gets BETTER gas mileage than the stock n/a one? hmmmmm

hmmm...yah boost actually does help because the motor doesnt have to work as hard to pull air in because its forced in so in essence the motor doesnt work as hard, why do you think turbo volkswagens get such good gas mileage, and last time i check the turbo ones get better fuel economy then the n/a ones so just because its turbo doesnt mean that its gonna get worse gas mileage...hmmm
