HA that "automatic" will OWN anyone trying to shift gears. VW's latest DSG will shift in the .0xx second range IIRC.

and yeah it'll RUN im sure but they're not about to wreck and kill a concept car right off the bat

is the driver lookin for a parking spot or what?

It's still a V-Dub, does that engine too has a timing belt instead a timing chain as the Golf V GTI? even an 3 cylinder 1 liter Opel Corsa has a timing chain!

sorry but I am "aggrieved" by the german V-Dub community...and they all are gaylords.
don't want to offend anybody from here.

it was at a show. it was figuring out hot to do the entrance for the unveiling i believe. its still a v-dub yes, but a v-dub that if just stays a concept to say the least, will outrun most supercars around today...the W12 motor is essentially 2 VR6 motors put together. VR in the written out german word stands for 15 degree motor. the vr6 has a piston V angle of 15 degrees. thus allowing the use of one head and all the valvetrain in there. ONLY the 4 cyl motors from VW used belts, and IIRC the mk5 doesnt use a belt (i thought it had a chain now but i dont remember i'll check for sure) so needless, anything bigger than the 4cyl was/is using a chain. whats it matter to you? what do you drive? i love my hondas and will/am planning to go back to one soon, but the VW's opend up my eyes to a WHOLE new level, even tho it can be expensive sometimes, its some good shit...

Thanks for the info but I know all that, you see where I'm from?

don't take me serious, I realy don't like VDubs, but mostly because german Vdub drivers are assholes!

one of my friends of the Airforce has a Golf GTi, he wants to buy a R32 after he sold the GTI....it's slower than my Bimmer...lol...that pisses him off.

I know Shinmei 2006 for over a year and he linked me to some threads sometimes and after I got my new (used) car I decided to register me here.

I think it's cool to make same stereotypes about germans clear and let u guys know whats going on overseas. It all started with the "Nürburgring"-Thread in this Forum....I love that track.

As I said, no offends to US V-Dubbers, but the germans all are stupid, retarted morons....othersides they have the biggest VW/Audi only car meeting in the world, the Wörtherseetour, thats where the GTI W12 was introduced to the crowd.

Ok, I have am a stereotype in germany too, lol, Bimmer drivers are to be considered as wreckless and posing drivers....and Bimmers were mostly driven my turkish immigrants.....also a stereotype.

My Dad used to work at BMW as a manager for years and my bro is a mechanic at a BMW Service Center. So it was obvious to get myself a BMW after I noticed there were no good Nissan S14a's on the german market anymore, they come with SR20DET's. but they are overpriced and have to many miles on the speedo.

BTW my bro is also a member of TR
