I'm not sure what was going on with the Mustang, but I agree - trap mph didn't fit the hp.
Maybe someone is baiting the GTR into a money race.... although the GTR driver has been around the SFL street racing scene and use to own a 9sec Shelby.

Someone needs some more track time! That has got to be the worst 60' time I've ever seen a Cobra. I do give him this though, Those tire gauges fucking suck! mine read about 20PSI over what actual tire pressure was.
At least he wasn't a douche bag ricer about loosing.

AWD Vs. RWD... all comes down to available traction. Like my car, the GTR doesnt have to feather the throttle. It's just gas and go. A 700hp mustang even with slicks has to feather off the line. Also, variables come in to play, like the heat of the track, if its been prepped properly, humidity percentage, tire pressure when heated... all of these things affect traction. Though driver is to blame a little, I do think that having to feather such a high horsepower car off the line in order to make sure he didnt lose traction and wreck his car was #1 priority. No offense to Kirk, but isnt that why 800HP Supras hardly race from a dig, and more from a 60mph roll? its about available traction.

cool story bro, but he had more than one run. He could have made adjustments. It all boiled down to his driving not being on point that night with a trap speed like that

The mustang dude in the video cut a 2.0 60' on slicks. Clearly his fault. He bogged bad. He should have came out much higher like at 6k and dumped it. In proper hands, that mustang (if it truly made 700rwhp) is a solid 10.70 car. Not sticking up for the ford but the GTR driver's skill is leaps and bounds ahead of the other guy.
