Well common sense would tell you an s2k wont run 12s that easy
, however 135i's with just a chip can run 12 flat how again is that not impressive? Sure if you wanna take them around sebring after, straight line is fun but not if that's all you can do.

Don't know how its in the import world but in domestics you can have a full bolt-on motor while retaining the "stock" motor. By that it means that the heads, cam, and shortblock are stock. A more popular term for it is called stock longblock. There is a running internet list of the fastest N/A stock longblocks in both mustang and camaro communities. It is a valid term. Hope that clears things up a little.
