Sounds like he is letting off quite a bit on the straights when there is plety of straight away left, this to keep the egts down?? I wonder how conservative his tuning has to be for this extended duty on the engine.

They are driving hard. Remember this goes on for three hours. You can find another video of him I posted last week and that will show they really are trying.
