Diverter Valve Question

Default Diverter Valve Question

A friend of mine just got a 98 Audi A4 1.8T ...Im not an audi or vw guy so i do not know how to install a diverter valve. does someone have a write up or just tell me how to do this. its probably pretty simple but i dont want to jack up anything.

It's almost as easy as hooking up a BlowOff Valve.
There are 3 hoses that will be hooked up to a Diverter Valve.

One small 1/4" Vacuum hose that mounts to the top of the valve.
One 1/2" hose that comes off of the stock Intake pipe after the Turbo but before the T/B, It mounts to the Bottom of the Valve
AND
One 1/2" Hose that goes to the Air Intake pipe...right past the filter, Mounts to the side of the Diverter Valve.

And your done....Piece of cake....Right?

Thanks for telling me it was under the freak'n car...and that i had to jack it up......but i got it on, so thanks for the help everyone.
