old school vs new school
old school vs new school
-Very long due to detail...
Sat. night after a quick stint at sonic/win dixie I left to go home. I had (VQ35DE) with me and I took West Shore and I was going to take the CC back home. As I was driving along, chatting and there was a white cobra(like 98'-99')waiting at a stop sign to pull out of a neighborhood. His wheels were turned left as to suggest he was going to go south on west shore. As I pasted him (VQ35DE) said he was staring hard like he wanted some. As we pasted him he pulled out two cars behind us. I contuined north on W. Shore and when the cars behind me turned he got right on my ass. He reved a couple times and the he purged some nitrous. He had that thing when you purge it lights up in purple. I always remove my bottle before going out on sat. night to stay out of trouble. Since (VQ35DE) was in town with out his car I forgot to remove it. He looked at the pressure gauge an it said 950psi. So he removed the thermostat from the heater so it would not shut off. So at Kennedy I missed th green light so I could wait for the pressure to rise. I turned left onto Kennedy to get onto the Frankinstein, he follows. We get to the on ramp and make our way into traffic. The gauge was around 1050psi. I wait for traffic to clear and move over so he could get next to me. Around 40mph he does the old 3 honks and were off. I quickly get out a 1/2 car and keep pulling. Around 100mph I am about 1.5 cars ahead and 115 I get out of it. He catchs up to me and we are crusing around 70mph and he dose the ole' 3 honks again. Away we go again. I only pulled out a fender and stay there till' like 110 when I started to fall back(Damn AOD/3.73s). About 125 he pulled even and like 130mph he had a fender. We slow down to a safe speed. He rolls his window down as do I and we give each other thumbs up and he takes off. If he is on here...nice run man. He had a Hernando County tag. This story is long so there will be less confusion to all who read it.
