ive ran the car above 18psi on the eaton and it hates it, iat2's sky rocket and this car is one tricky motherfucker to tune. to the op talking abot 60lbers and a 2.6 pulley, have fun with the rental when you blow piston #4...if your tune is not top notch on that setup BOOM. People are throwing the smallest pulleys and the biggest injectors they can find on the car and blowing it up...why? because they think they can spin more air in the blower, well that air is hot as fuck, and as for exhaust, i believe the stock system to suitable to around ~280whp, i think duy can vouch for my credibility, i put 3 cars on him and dont have half as many mods.

duy, did you get your car running any better? jeremy work more on the tune? you need traction mods if you plan on running these guys, aka some mickey thompsons, not a little motor mount
add meth injection that way you can pour on the timeing 20* + or - with no knock and not blowing #4
I added the not blowing #4 but I don't see that many people burning down #4 that have cooling mods, Hence the Cobra heat Exchanger and meth........

I never stated my cobalt was fast just putting my kills in the war section. And if you lost to a Murano(sp) you must need a Driver mod or learn how to drive.

While your moving the stock h.e is doing its job prettty well already.

flame on...
Every cobalt differs on logs and how they tune, If you would widen you search area for reading up on cobalts you would see that so called "box tunes" are what eat the #4 cyclinder. Adding the heat exchanger if a very efficient way of keeping all cylinders together longer. It verys so much from car to car but it isn't unrealistic to see 20 - 30 drop in IAT's. Then if you add meth/water ontop of that.. Wow no more "max 18psi" out of efficiency range.

If you do your homework and do the shit right the first time you won't have to mod internals on your engine untill around 300fwhp. After that the pistons will be failing left and right.

Stock pistons suck in the Cobalt. Ive seen people with 325+hp but it seems not to last very long. Axles are i think 350hp, valve train 400hp, Clutch seems to be 205hp but is rated at 350hp or close to.
