Another banner moment for the little HF occured tonight as I was out aimlessly driving around. As usual I decided to drive up and down Dale for no apparant reason and for the most part was minding my own business the whole time. I slide up to a light and a maroon DSM with tons of stickers (musta been fast) rolls up next to me. Oh boy! I look over at him he guns it at me. Sweet this makes up for the Tercel with twin DTM tips that tried me earlier. Light changes and he leaves at 3500 at least and I ease out on idle and show him my taillights really fast. By 3rd I decided he had enough so I gave him the hazzards. Ahead a light changes to red and I see headlights moving around scrambling for posision. What rolls up between the maroon DSM and the HF but another DSM green...no stickers. Hmm...2 second gen DSMs vs. one meak HF. Everyone is gunning their motors at one another and when the light changed it caught me off guard and I launched with some wheelspin. The maroon DSM is already a done deal but the green one was a bit tougher to pass. He hung in there pretty well and then as I was about 1/2 a car in front of him he showed me a thing or two about missing a gear. Oh well another victim of my hazzards. Both DSMs would not even look over in my direction as I slowed to below the speed limit. Hmmpf.
