Ok so it puts out 325hp. I see alot of torque from it(385), but its doesn't seem like this monster swap. I mean the stock motor in a corvette puts out 350hp and 375lbs of torque and camaro/firebirds put out 325hp and 350lbs of torque. So the big deal is 35lbs of torque?

I am assuming until someone says otherwise. Actually says, not little jokes or whatever.

People ask questions to learn. I know you must know everything so you don't have to ask questions.

Its not difficult, I am just wondering why go to the trouble to swap an engine for a mere 35lbs of torque. I mean there are easier and cheaper ways to get that kind of gain.

I may be a "n00b" on here, but I am not new to cars.

The LQ4 was basically for security. It is a iron block. Built to take forced induction.. By the way. My car is stock...

Alright that makes sense, thanks. Whats the weight difference though, going from an aluminum block to cast iron? Does he have any FI, or is it in the works? Thanks for the reply.
